​​When a person enters the world subject to transaction, exchange, and displacement, the whole degrades to a disjointed and performative negotiation.

Deficient existence depends on a staged, externally authored reality.

Sunk below this theater are remnants longing for cohesion and resurrection in the absence of hope and truth.

The whole of my work has been reconstructed from pieces, with Humpty Dumpty consequences. 

​

Full resurrection is not possible. 

​

The newly forged being is forever altered. 

​

Imperfectly birthed entities emerge from this alchemy as patched paintings, music, and narratives.

​

In paintings, subjects inhabit fractured phantom bodies in dynamic resistance against forced theft of self. 

​

They are alchemized by paint as uniquely omnipresent others.

​

These visual and auditory acts of punk feminine defiance exist as a reclamation of the aggrieved, a necessary remedy to recalibrate the world.
